Greetings.

Today, I am sharing a recently released new feature regarding Microsoft Teams.

New Feature: File uploads will occur asynchronously in the background, allowing users to continue sending messages without interruption.

Details

  • Users are currently blocked from sending messages in Microsoft Teams while a file upload is in progress.
  • Now, file uploads will occur asynchronously in the background, allowing users to continue sending messages without interruption.
  • Users will be able to send chat messages while files are uploading.
  • The message input box will no longer be blocked during uploads.
  • There are no changes to how files are stored or shared.
  • This feature will be enabled by default for all tenants.
