Details

  • Admin app retiring in Teams, Outlook and Microsoft365.com
  • What is admin appThe Admin app is an application built to help very small businesses manage administrative tasks directly in Teams, Outlook and Microsoft365.com.
  • Starting in October 2026, the Admin app will no longer be supported or available.
  • Starting in October 2026 the Admin app will no longer be supported or available to customers in Teams, Outlook, or Microsoft365.com.
  • Admins will still be able to access the application if it is installed in Teams.
  • Admins can continue to use Microsoft Admin Center and Teams Admin Center to manage their Teams environments.
  • Admins can also use the Microsoft 365 Admin Agent to assist them with administrative tasks

Timelines

Microsoft will begin rolling out mid-August 2026 and expect to complete by mid-October 2026.
