MAJOR UPDATE: Microsoft Teams – Update the Teams mobile app to maintain Calendar functionality

Details:

  • To maintain Calendar functionality in Microsoft Teams mobile on iOS and Android, users must update to the latest Teams mobile app by early October 2026.
  • Older versions will lose calendar access.
  • Admins should ensure updates, inform users, and configure management tools accordingly.
  • Users must update to the latest Teams mobile app version available in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store to continue using Calendar functionality in Teams mobile.
  • This change does not affect desktop or web clients. No changes are being made to Teams Calendar functionality on web or desktop clients.
  • This change applies only to the Teams mobile app.

Who is affected

  • All users who access Microsoft Teams from iOS or Android mobile devices
